URGENT - FORD RANGER 3.2 SID209 PROBLEM

Post by artec12 »

Hello,
I am facing an issue with Ford Ranger 3.2 sid209. I did a virtual read and then tried to read it. The tool indicated "ECU Not patched, downlaoding, writing" and then :writing failed.

After that the engine shuts off after a while and the following error comes up. P060A internal control module monitoring processor performance.

I understand that the tool started to write the patch but failed (probably due to the fact that the car was remapped via another tool in the past).
I will try to write the original file I read with virtual read with KTAG or *** Flash after password unlock.

My question though is if the TGFLASH patch affects the flash or eeprom of the ECU, because if it affects the eeprom flashing the original file will not fix the ECU.

Any ideas?

The car has the following ID:
VIN:
ECU: CONTI_SID209_FRY_700
Serial: 000872777649
Part#: GB3G-12A650-BA
HW: GB3A-12B684-CA
SW#: DSGB3G-12A650-AAE
SW: GB3G-14C204-AJP
