BMW e91 LCI edc17-41 patched ?

1st time using tactrix via tg flash .
Always used kess/ktag.
Brought the protocols for E x chassis edc17 family as wanting to save time not having to bench .

I’ve read I’d and come back with patched .

But still allowed to read complete file and save bin file size of 4mb.

My question is does it still need to be benched 1st
Or can you read and write straight to edc17 via obd .

You can do VR, and then flash your MOD by obd, without any bench unlocking. F series EDC17 also.

Went to upload mod file and failed
on the after “writing” procedure
on the “checking security” part .

Has made me upload recovery file .
Any reason for it to do this ?

Second time around it successfully wrote file .
