TGFlash ECU Flasher Official Forum

hello ,someone can tell me all procedure for flash EDC17 BMW F series please (004 protocol) , tomorrow need flash a BMW F20 and i not wanna wrong something , thanks

You are Connect the enet cable or the j2534 dongle , Open the tgflash Programm and choose the fordert Connection Type.
Click on identify and check if the connection is correct and the information from the ecu is read out.
Then click on read or virtual read to read the Ecu, the difference between read and virtual read is, The read is directly from the ecu and the virtual read is from the tgflash server. Then modify the file and click after this on write, the tgflash correct the checksum and fix the CVN, after the checksum and CVN correct, The writing process starts and writes the ecu.

thanks for your help , is my first time use protocol 004 , i try to flash mod file and first time give me a error and block the ecu ,after back to stock procedure the ecu relive... , i retry to flash mod file and all go well......

why did an error? to restore the ori file you have used always the TG flash?
