I've MSD85 MSV90 protocols. When bought I dismounted ECU to flash, but once tried thru OBD socket and it worked out just fine! I'm using OpenPort. After that I do thru OBD and if it doesn't works I disconnect battery for a moment and try again.

Yes, I flashed this ECU with PID013 via OBD. Works well.

No, you can't brick ECU with 013, because only calibration area is flashed. We tested random programming session termination and flashing random data. You still can reflash with 013 after that.

I am going to buy a tgflasher for this block, as well as for Bosch blocks. can you say what i need to buy in order to try to read the msd 85 on f01 through the obd, the scanmatik with obd and bench or openport? can in PM

Scanmatick and openport work with that ECU, but not always with OBD, then you must use bench connection, im using https://chiptuningshop.com/product/univ ... out-cable/ thing for bench connection.
