Ford Transit 2.2 ,Sid208 failed read.

Hi guys
i have the sid208 module and have attempted to read a Ford Transit 2.2 ,Sid 208 ecu ,it will id it but fails to read the full file.I have tried 2 leads ,genuine Tactrix open port. Battery support .Have you any ideas what could be causing the problem ?

I have used this module multiple times and all successful, But the other day it failed to read, just hung, but after multiple tries in between try external supply ect it succeeded to real read, this has never happened before and writing was successful.

I only really write the VR file but handy to have real read.
